BLACK WOMEN, PHENOMENALLY

A platform highlighting Black female trailblazers of the past, present, & future.

Client: Harriett’s Bookshop

Women, especially Black women, have been at the epicenter of creativity. We do not give them the attention they truly deserve. With Harriett's Bookshop, a Black woman-owned bookshop in Philadelphia, we created a campaign highlighting the Black female legends of the past, present, and future.

The Gold Book.

We created a book called the Gold book. This book is a reference to Black women authors, artists, and activists from the past and present. It showcases the juxtaposition of the women who paved the way for the future leaders of today.

The concept and design of the Gold Book were inspired by the Negro Motorist Green book. This book was a reference for Black travelers in the Jim Crow South era.

OOH Ads.

To advertise the women, we created billboards and placed them around the Philadelphia area, showcasing how Black woman leaders of the past, present, and future set a stage for all Black women.
